Inspiration

At the beginning of this project I was inspired by the aesthetics of the traditional Romani vardos; all the colour, bold decoration and shapes. The idea of a free life, where I could live in one of these beautiful creations and travel the World as I pleased has also always been a magical dream of mine. Therefore, with combining these two inspirations together I started to arrive at a concept. 

A concept revolving around a journey, or more like a journey that is no longer possible in today's climate. The death of culture,  traditions and magic through the control of society.

My project is inspired by the Romani Gypsy Culture, however it is a concept that includes many different cultures and minority groups, as well as individuals whom feel that the journey they wish to per sue is made impossible by others or the chains of conformation in society.    

To be Free is a beautiful Dream, One that Can Only Exist in our Imaginations.
